notes

pattern:
Simplicity 3635

fabric & notions:
cotton, hoop boning, hoop connectors, ¾" cotton twill tape, ¼" cotton twill tape

general notes:
This was very simple & straightforward if boring & time consuming project. Thanks to the hooping and flat-felled seams there was lots of stitching. And I mean a LOT of stitching! My bad wrists didn't appricate all the cutting and inserting of the boning but again it was simple to do.

For once in my life I didn't alter the pattern and actually followed the given directions. Easy! I did add a row of boning at the hem (becasue I'm tall) and I may add a ruffle to the hem as well... still pondering that.

I'm so pleased with the results from this pattern! A sturdy and nicely proprotioned pair of pannier that are almost identical to the extent pair in Corsets & Crinolines - yay!
