We got the Milliners shop to ourselves for a few minutes and so got a chance to pet, examine and photograph some fun items. The lady pulled out three fashion dolls for me to look at which was great. They were all 24” tall and made of wood.

I also got to look at a pretty Brunswick jacket. I’m becoming fascinated with Brunswicks. This will sound terrible but what got me started was seeing one at an event and thinking “I could do that better!”. :P So bad! This one was of gingham silk in navy blue. So cute! You know I saw some light blue gingham silk taffeta at G Streets this spring and wondered if I could use it for reenacting – now I know what to make if I ever see it again! :>
